The Channel Selector

CEDAR CambridgeChannel Selector

A conventional user interface requires a knob per parameter. This works for one or two channels but, as the channel count grows, it becomes unwieldy.

CEDAR Cambridge can process up to eight channels simultaneously, and these can be configured in numerous formats such as stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and so on. The Channel Selector provides a mechanism for viewing and adjusting parameter values across all active channels without requiring a large control surface. This reduces the amount of screen area required to handle large numbers of parameters, making the system easier to use and more productive.
