CEDAR Product History
CEDAR Cambridge leads the world in the field of audio restoration and speech enhancement. It offers phenomenal processing power, massive storage capabilities, and a suite of the fastest, most powerful and most accurate audio processing modules ever developed. Whether you are engaged in audio remastering, post, restoration for archives and libraries, or audio forensic investigation, CEDAR Cambridge offers unparalleled capabilities and quality.
Available as a range of AAX and VST plug-ins for the Mac and PC, CEDAR Studio 7 allows you to eliminate a wide range of common problems and significantly improve the sound quality of your audio. Each CEDAR Studio 7 process (including the multi-award winning DNS One and Retouch 7™) has been selected from our CEDAR Cambridge™ flagship, and provides unsurpassed results, quickly, and with the minimum of fuss and user intervention.
There are many digital audio recorders and there are many noise reduction systems ranging from plug-ins to the unparalleled power of a CEDAR Cambridge Forensic System. But - until now - there has been nothing that combines long-term audio monitoring with powerful real-time speech enhancement, recording (with durations measured in years rather than days), event logging, and file verification that ensures that no-one has tampered with the recordings. Now there is.
With eight simultaneous channels of dialogue noise suppression, the DNS 8 Live hosts a new DNS algorithm boasting a simplified '2-knob' approach as well as a detailed editing mode that offers more control than any previous dialogue noise suppressor. It's suitable for use in all live situations - not just live-to-air broadcasting, but also live sound in venues such as theatres, concert halls, conferences venues, and places of worship.
Since the birth of digital audio, engineers have been striving to provide high quality digital noise reduction with no appreciable delay between input and output. The DNS1500 provides superb noise suppression with a latency of merely 1/400th of a frame. No more loading of hard disks, no more slipping against timecode, no more frame stores... just the highest quality noise suppression in real real-time.
The Duo range sets new standards for rackmount audio restoration processors. Featuring powerful SHARC™ DSPs and the latest algorithms, they deliver excellent results across all types of material. With 24-bit, 96kHz audio interfaces, memories, automation and more, they are ideal for use where speed, simplicity and quality are paramount.
The ADA is a high quality 24/96 converter that converts incoming analogue signals into high quality digital outputs, and digital signals into high quality analogue outputs.
A full range of restoration processes for Merging Technologies' systems, CEDAR for Pyramix removes clicks, crackle, thumps, and hiss, and includes CEDAR Retouch™ to ensure that your audio is free of all unwanted sounds and noises.
CEDAR Declick for NOA and CEDAR Dehiss for NOA have been written to provide a processing environment that perfectly complements an archive's workflow while retaining the highest standards of processing.
