All CEDAR for AMS Neve processes have been superseded by CEDAR Studio.

In September 2001, AMS Neve and CEDAR announced a collaboration to provide audio restoration and noise reduction processes on the AudioFile SC. The first two processes were auto declick and auto decrackle, followed by dehiss. These processed single events or, by tagging, whole tracks or sections of audio. By allowing the user to tag events, these implementations allowed multiple events to be restored in a single operation. The processes required no additional hardware to run on a SAM-equipped AudioFile SC and, once the user had located the cue or event that needed to be processed, the whole operation was performed with just a single key press.

In 2008, these processes were made available on the AudioFile SC/X. The AudioFile FX key was then used to gain access and to launch the processes. By allowing the user to tag events, the SC/X implementation of CEDAR's processes again allowed multiple events to be restored in a single operation. The original unprocessed events were retained in the events list as muted events, ensuring that the original unprocessed sound was available at any time later in the workflow chain. An upgrade path was provided for existing owners of CEDAR processes on the AMS AudioFile SC.
