Although rackmount digital audio restoration processors have existed since CEDAR introduced them in 1992, they have until now represented a compromise between simplicity of use and the ability to obtain the best possible restoration across a wide variety of material.
The CEDAR Duo series - which is now available from stock - comprises two units that address the most common problems of clicks, crackle and broadband noise. These offer advanced features including auto-detection of the noise content, user-memories and remote control, as well as full control over the processing parameters. Nevertheless, they are extremely simple and quick to use, thus providing a previously unattainable combination of restoration quality and productivity.
