CEDAR Audio can now reveal more information about CEDAR Tools™, the new suite of CEDAR processes that provides original functions and capabilities for Pro ToolsŪ users. Incorporating algorithms developed for our flagship CEDAR Cambridge™ system, the next two modules offer sound quality and facilities not previously available on the platform. In addition to the recently released Retouch for Pro ToolsŪ, visitors to the 119th AES Convention will be able to see:

CEDAR Tools Declip

CEDAR Auto Dehiss for Pro ToolsŪ

CEDAR Auto Dehiss for Pro ToolsŪ is a radical noise reduction technology that separates the noise from the wanted signal more accurately than any other process, providing remarkable dehissing while retaining the life and 'air' of the audio. Auto Dehiss is remarkably simple to use, and excellent results can be obtained quickly and easily.

CEDAR Auto Dehiss will be available as an AudioSuite plug-in on the Pro ToolsŪ (PC) platform v6.9 onwards.

CEDAR Declip for Pro ToolsŪ

CEDAR Declip for Pro ToolsŪ is a genuine declipping algorithm that allows users to identify and remove most instances of clipping in a single real-time pass. It does so by presenting a visual display of the clipping and by providing intuitive controls that remove the offending samples and reconstruct the signal.

CEDAR Declip will be available as an AudioSuite plug-in on the Pro ToolsŪ (PC) platform v6.9 onwards.
