CEDAR DNS2000 nominated for CAS (Cinema Audio Society) Award in 2008
This is not the first time that the DNS2000 has been nominated for one of these awards. Managing Director, Gordon Reid says,
"We are very proud that the DNS2000 has been nominated for CAS Awards in successive years. As last year, we were unaware that our DNS2000 had been selected for this honour, so we would very much like to thank the anonymous nominator and those who voted for it."
The 44th CAS Awards will be presented on 16 February 2008 in Los Angeles.
The CAS consists of over 550 Sound Mixers and Associates from the Film and Television Industries. It was founded to create a proper channel of communication between the related sound crafts and between those instrumental to the production and distribution of film and television soundtracks.
