CEDAR Audio to launch the latest version of CEDAR Cambridge at the 125th AES Convention
For the first time at an AES Convention, we are showing the CEDAR DNS3000 dialogue noise suppressor, which supersedes and improves upon the Academy Award® winning DNS1000, an industry standard for film, TV and video post. (The DNS3000 has been nominated for a TEC Award to be presented at the Convention.)
The original CEDAR System is being inducted at the Convention into the TECnology Hall Of Fame, and its direct descendents, the latest incarnations of the CEDAR Cambridge™ and CEDAR Cambridge Server™ workstations, will be demonstrated on our booth. Version 5.1, which is being launched at the Convention, boasts new facilities aimed at our customers and users in post production, but which will also be of benefit in broadcast, sound archives and libraries as well as mastering and forensic audio investigation.
In addition, we will be showing the industry standard Duo audio restoration units, the DNS1500 and DNS2000 dialogue noise suppressors, and CEDAR Tools™, which brings the power and quality of CEDAR to the Pro Tools™ platform.
CEDAR will also be represented on the Merging Technologies (Pyramix) booth (#415) and on the SADiE systems on the Prism Media Products booth (#725).
The 125th Convention runs from 2 - 5 October 2008 at the Moscone Centre, San Francisco. We hope to see you there.
