CEDAR is used worldwide by forensic agencies including national police services, national security agencies, accident investigation bureaux, plus hundreds of firms of lawyers and other legal agents.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to list the majority of the agencies and forces that use CEDAR. The following have kindly given their permission for us to use their names on this site:
In September 2002, the FBI gave their permission for CEDAR USA to announce that the FBI Forensic Audio Laboratory located at Quantico, Virginia, had purchased CEDAR equipment including the BRX+ Debuzzer, DHX Dehisser, and DNS1000 Dynamic Noise Suppresser.
Also in 2002, Fraser Jones, President of CEDAR Audio USA, announced that The Richard M. Nixon Archive of the Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Center, in Washington, DC, had purchased three DNS1000 Dynamic Noise Suppressers to continue their on-going work to restore all of the Nixon tapes archived there.
